Download ImageInterviewer Application

The following java application will work for both Windows XP and Macintosh OS X (1.2+)

Download ImageInterviewer as Java jar. This is a clickable application IF you have Java installed. See later on this page if you do not. You can also select the source file, which ends in .tgz or .zip. You will need Ant to build the source.:w

Macintosh OS X

Macintosh OS X includes everything you need to run ImageInterviewer. Just double click on ImageInterviewer[xxx].jar (or AudioNotes[xxx].jar) and enjoy. See the other pages in this section for instructions.

Windows XP

ImageInterviewer requires Apples' Quicktime and Sun's Java to run. If you have iTunes installed, you have Quicktime as well. If not, download from Apple's site: Quicktime for Windows. At the moment this downloads the iTunes installer for Windows. There does not appear to be a separate download for just Quicktime. So fire up that iPod.

Some Windows XP versions do not include java by default, or it may be misconfigured. If you have java installed you should be able to double click on ImageInterviewer.jar and it will launch a session. If Windows indicates it is bewildered and asks you to select an application, you either have a misconfigured java installation, or java is not present on your machine.

If this doesn't work, download java from Sun Microsystems: Java JRE. Download either the entry headed JDK or JRE, but the JRE is a smaller download.
