FieldMap
FieldMap is an application for map based data collection and information access tool for field sciences. It is designed for use on PDAs, desktop and laptop computers. Detailed vector maps and one raster map can be displayed superimposed as layers. GPS or manual location coordinates recording for notes and survey grids. FieldNotes may be attached to points, circles, lines, polygons or multipoints and can be activated by location. Note templates can be defined by the user. Recording of voice notes is at experimental stage. Map layers can be in GRASS ASCII vector or ESRI Shape file formats
